What you will be doing in the role of a Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will produce creative primarily for the 3-Day event series and other event focused projects. Media includes website design, email design, digital advertising, and direct mail to support and enhance the Susan G. Komen mission. The Graphic Designer will work across teams to understand key goals for the creative. This role uses creative content in line with the Komen brand identity while customizing the design elements to inspire event participation and fundraising.

The Graphic Designer much possess a strong understanding of what makes a powerful narrative and how it's best repeated across audiences leveraging digital platforms, i.e. how to tell a story using words, images, video or audio and an understanding of how creative content can draw an audience. Should possess background in digital marketing and/or communications. He or she should be connected to Komen’s mission and motivated to enhance one of the world’s best-known and most trusted brands.

What you will bring to the table

Supports digital engagement programs with rich media content including graphics, photos, and videos.Designs and produces collateral material ensuring all work meets brand standards.Develops creative that aligns with marketing strategies for a variety of multi-channel digital campaigns, including responsive landing pages, social ads, and print direct response marketing to drive revenue and elevate organizational brand.Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external creative leads and partners.On an as needed basis, work with external integrated engagement agencies.We know you have and will be able to

5+ years’ experience in design, project management, and/or in an in-house or agency creative position.Excellent eye for graphic design and typography and the ability to receive constructive feedback on projects.Great communicator, both in conveying design decisions and execution tactics.Exceptional portfolio of digital creative work spanning websites, microsites, email, social media graphic and campaigns.Strong and effective design project management experience.Ability to manage multiple projects on various levels with different and converging timelines.Optimistic about future possibilities and a catalyst for change. Strong collaboration and partnership skills.Bachelor’s Degree, Graphic Design or Advertising Design.Travel requirements required outside of your home office will be less than 5% depending on our business needs.All other duties as assigned.So, what's in it for you?

Approximate salary $49,000 to $65,000, exact compensation ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job level, internal equity and budget.
