Job Description

The Cricut Creative Department is a multi-faceted team of dreamers and doers who bring the Cricut brand to life through exceptional creative content. This in-house team turns business strategy into visual reality with best-in-class, forward-thinking solutions that consider the full scope of consumer touchpoints. The team is comprised of four key areas: Design, Copy, Project Design, and Operations. Together, their work helps people lead creative lives.

The Creative Department’s Design Team is a highly collaborative group of channel experts who amplify Marketing strategy and Concept’s look and feel through the design and delivery of content at scale. This team knows the purpose and nuance of every consumer touchpoint and ensures the visual expression of Cricut’s creative content is most relevant and impactful to our target audiences. Since they are accountable for final delivery of assets, they will lead optimization and redelivery of assets based on business needs.

The Creative Designer supports the graphic design function within the Cricut Creative team and is responsible for the design and execution of content across print and digital assets for various projects at scale and on time, working closely with internal and external teams. You are a thoughtful individual responsible for leading, supporting, and guiding work from project intake through final delivery.

In this role, you will lead or support full-scope design for multi-faceted creative projects, flexing up to lead our largest initiatives as needed. You will bring the creative vision to life by translating Marketing strategy and conceptual look and feel into multi-touchpoint assets for product launches, campaigns, always-on programs (i.e., email), and more.

You will report to the Senior Director, Creative, alongside your fellow designers.

Responsibilities:

Support projects as resourced; lead some projects

Collaborate with the total Design team to build out fully integrated assets that span all consumer touchpoints and channels

Work cross-functionally with partners across the organization (Creative, Marketing, International, DTC) to best understand their requirements and build assets accordingly

Review and revise conceptual work with the Senior Creative Director ****

Qualifications:Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred

2-4 years’ relevant working experience in graphic design

Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)

Experience using design software (i.e., Adobe, Figma, Miro, etc.)

Proven experience owning projects from inception to project closeout

Ability to design and deliver complex project plans with attention to detail

Self-starter with independent decision-making abilities

Collaborative communicator with transparency and accountability

Entrepreneurial spirit – ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, start-up environment and do whatever it takes to get the job done

Be a team player and bring a positive attitude to the team even in a continually changing environment
