WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re hiring a transformative, energetic leader, with a passion for sport and sport-culture, and an optimistic belief in the power of technology to be our new Men’s Lifestyle Director in Global Digital Marketing.

We’re looking for candidates who will help originate and lead a fresh and distinctive digital vision and offense that expands Nike’s digital brand connections and influence across the world of Men’s Lifestyle. You will need experience and confidence leading and developing talent and a track record for empathy and self-awareness without sacrificing high standards for your work and your team’s. Ideal candidates are passionate about sport, youth culture and style with a deep knowledge of the tech and new-media landscape. You will need vision for how Nike can foster digital innovation, inspiration and connection, to enhance authentic engagement with the Nike Brand and product. Extensive experience in digital marketing, a proven track record of leading transformative initiatives, and a willingness to take calculated risks are essential for excelling in this role.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

This role leads the global digital marketing offense and team for Men’s lifestyle. You will set the Men’s lifestyle digital marketing vision, articulate that vision through strategic plans, and lead your team to bring it to life. You and your team will be responsible for developing & delivering breakthrough digital marketing ideas, strategic plans & campaigns that drive Nike’s priority lifestyle brand concepts.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

We’re an inclusive, innovative, and passionate team. You will report directly to the Sr. Director of Global Digital Marketing, Men’s. You will work closely and collaboratively with many functions, including: Global Brand Management, Integrated Media, Social, Comms, Sports Marketing, Creative, and Business leads in Nike’s Global organization as well as with Geography partners in North America, APLA, Greater China, and EMEA. As needed, you will manage agencies and partners to bring strategies to life.

You will bring a desire to be part of a fast-paced, high-energy, skilled team of digital marketers, hungry to lead the industry; a passion for sport, tech, youth culture & style; the leadership and experience required to lead a team of high-performing talent through a cross-functional landscape; and the original thinking, curiosity, and Digital expertise to craft breakthrough, impactful and innovative strategies & marketing plans.

Additional requirements:

· A passion and personal connection to sport / sport culture.

· Bachelor/Master’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and training.

· 8+ years of experience in Consumer-brand, Digital Marketing

· Proven ability as a manager and team leader, with a passion for developing everyone on the team to grow, improve, succeed, and advance toward collective and individual goals.

Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with a highly developed ability to cultivate relationships in a diverse and complex organizational landscape

· A profound understanding of the Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha media/tech landscape, including engagement, shopping and sharing habits, and an affinity for the digital environments where they spend time.

· Vision for where brands should go next online, informed by your media, tech & consumer knowledge.

· A track record for developing & executing innovative digital marketing strategies, ideas and executions across owned, earned and paid channels.

· Strong analytical skills and proven ability to use data to drive business & marketing decisions.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to present new ideas, strategies and plans to small and large groups, including presenting to executive leaders and external partners.

· Experience managing agencies, third-party vendors and partners.

· Ability to lead team efforts while also working independently to deliver on individual responsibilities.

· A strong sense of personal accountability, high standards for the work you do, a bias for action, and an ability to work autonomously.

· Genuine passion for Nike’s product and the Nike Brand
