Who You Will Work With This role reports to the Senior Director of Design in the Innovation Space Kitchen and collaborates with cross-functional teams across innovation, design, engineering, materials, sports research, and development. You may also engage with athletes and collaborate with external vendors and factory partners.
Who We Are Looking For We are seeking an outstanding Senior Expert Designer in the Innovation Space Kitchen to combine footwear design experience, innovative problem-solving abilities, and entrepreneurial leadership to help shape the future of sport.
What You Bring
BA/BFA/MA/MFA in Industrial Design, Product Design, Fashion Design, Material Design, Computational Design, Design Engineering, or relevant experience and training.
Minimum of 8 years of footwear design and/or innovation experience.
Creative and team leadership skills across various experiences.
Deep knowledge of product creation, athlete needs, and performance innovations.
Mastery of manufacturing processes, including pattern engineering, model making, materials, and sustainability concepts. Comfortable with hands-on prototyping tools.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Ability to ideate, develop, and execute designs considering performance, fit, and aesthetics.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a holistic view of product design and business opportunities.
Effective workload prioritization and project management skills.
Ability to work independently, embrace ambiguity, and meet key deadlines.
Team-oriented, collaborative, and able to inspire others, understanding that failure is part of innovation.
