A hybrid work schedule may be available for PA residents after six months. You will be required to be in the office 5 days a week for the first six months.

Communications Compliance Manager

Responsibilities

The Communications Compliance Manager is responsible for the Corporate Communications response to, and involvement in, PGW communication compliance matters and customer satisfaction metrics and capacities for Philadelphia Gas Works. The employee supervises the planning, development and implementation of programs, initiatives, or projects designed to best inform and serve PGW’s customers and increase the credibility and accessibility of all key stakeholders of the company, which include, customer communication governance including email, text, etc., public awareness tracking, customer satisfaction data reporting. The work is performed under the direction of the Director of External Communications and Media Relations.

Responsibilities

Deliver collections of regulatory content based on customer scope within agreed timeframes. Ensure compliance with document management systems and version control procedures for regulatory submissions.

Support regulatory inspections and audits by providing requested documentation and ensuring inspection readiness.

Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in regulatory submissions publishing and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Evaluate, collaborate, and support communication topics that are necessary for distribution, considering input from various internal clients and intradepartmental communications, while ensuring the content falls effectively aligns with Company’s corporate objectives relative to communications and meets its goals.

Inventory and track safety outreach efforts across PGW in support of PGW’s internal and external communications efforts and culture of safety programs.

Lead information governance (IG) process for PGW external communication that defines decision and accountability framework to ensure proper actions are taken regarding the creation, use, storage, and access of external customer communications across the enterprise.

Manage, liaise, facilitate and create PGW’s annual Public Awareness Plan for submission to the Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission.

Support PGW’s Pipeline Safety Management System leadership committee, as assigned.

Help to manage and maintain PGW’s JD Power Customer Satisfaction framework and quarterly customer assessments and ongoing customer satisfaction initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 to 6 years’ experience. Utility, government or public service sector a plus

Bachelor’s degree in communication, Communication Data Science, Public Information, Business Analytics or other relevant field of study.

Experience with campaign effectiveness study, data-driven decisions, data-based strategies and digital storytelling is preferred.

Must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of management information systems, databases, and digital application of information.

Must have project and resource management skills with ability to handle multiple projects.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build long-term constructive and cooperative relationships with coworkers, vendors, management and outside agencies/stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail

Work collaboratively across a variety of functions, including operations and corporate communications.
