As a US-based warranty provider, we provide expertise in safety and homecare to our customers. Our integrated solutions meet customer needs both inside and outside the home. Inside the home, we safeguard essential systems like plumbing, heating and cooling, appliances, power surge protection, hot water heaters, and interior electrical components. Outside the home, we ensure the protection of vital lines, including water, gas, wells, sewers, electric, and septic systems. We primarily go to market B2B2C, partnering mostly with water/gas/electric utilities and municipalities to offer our product leveraging their brand for marketing and often adding our subscription fee to the water/gas/electric bill itself. Position Summary

We are seeking a Head of Marketing Analytics to join our team in Naperville, IL. Taking marketing to the next level is a key focus area at Oncourse Home Solutions, and this person will play a pivotal role in making acquisitions more data-centric and analytical. As a key member of the Customer Acquisition leadership team, this individual will help build up our marketing data infrastructure, set up new analytical frameworks, help define the set of tools/vendors to support the team and will closely partner with the Direct Mail and Digital teams to help deliver their agendas and identify new strategic growth options. As a team leader, he or she will also be responsible for hiring, managing and developing a team of high performing analysts.

This role requires deep expertise in direct mail and digital marketing, an understanding of the omnichannel customer experience, a strong analytical mindset, and cross-functional leadership skills. A successful candidate will have the ability to represent the marketing leadership team and engage with key business stakeholders and external vendors.

Working with various partners, there will be responsibilities of campaign forecasting and planning, test design and validation, campaign and test reporting, and ad-hoc analyses spanning all marketing channels and the entire customer lifecycle.

This role is based in Naperville, IL. A regular in-office hybrid model (generally T-Th in office, M&F remote) is required, as our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop analytics focused on measuring the performance and effectiveness of OHS's current and future marketing channels. This includes Direct Mail, our largest current customer acquisition channel, as well as digital channels (Email, Search Engine Marketing, Affiliates) which are the focus of our forward-looking growth strategy.For each channel, build a deep understanding of the main levers across the value chain (e.g., creative, targeting, LTV/CAC optimization, conversion rate) that can be used to improve and/or expand each program, and help build a learning agenda to help accomplish these strategic objectives.Identify the right framework for and build a multi-touch attribution mechanism and/or proper holdout strategies to develop a granular understand of each channel's incremental contribution to the bottom line and marginal economics.Build a deep expertise in our targeting models, partner with Data Science team to continuously improve our targeting efficiency.Help develop personas and customer segmentation strategies, as well as related personalization strategies in our acquisition channels.Develop analytical tools and frameworks to drive test design and post-test analytics, supported by statistical significance calculations, KPI dashboards and data visualization tools.Monitor and report on campaign performance, present insights on trends to channel leads and senior stakeholders.Monitor the broader macro-environment in the Home Solutions market, measure competitor activity and incorporate insights into OHS's marketing decisions.Build an analytical infrastructure for online customer conversion measurement. Identify the right set of tools and mechanisms to measure and report on each step of the conversion funnel.Use the analytical infrastructure to develop deep expertise on OHS's current prospect journeys and user experience, from first touchpoint to booking; understand the main reasons for funnel fall-offs, and develop hypotheses on opportunities to maximize conversion rates.In partnership with the digital, direct mail and product teams (focusing on online acquisition channels), help develop learning agendas to test conversion rate improvement opportunities, including, but not limited to landing page testing, personalized customer journeys, offer customization, and lead routing strategies, leveraging both online and offline conversion channels.Serve as a subject matter expert on advanced analytical tools and concepts, such as de-anonymizing and de-duping prospects, matching leads to personas, customer path analytics, etc.Stay on top of evolving analytics technology trends, identify and build business cases for new platforms/solutions, third party data sources and other partnership opportunities to continuously improve OHS's analytical infrastructure, and enhance the sophistication of our measurement tools.Develop campaign-level forecasts and plans based on recent performance; factoring in seasonality and other variables to create targets by major campaign.Partner with other members of the Marketing team, as well as with Commercial Finance to provide input to forecasts and budgets, and to prioritize initiatives based on ROI targets.Communicate with senior leaders across the organization to evangelize Marketing Analytics, and keep key stakeholders, up to the CEO level, abreast of latest results and developments.Manage a team of high-performing associates.We're Excited if This is you

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics or Computer Science. MBA or Masters with a focus on Marketing or related fields is a plus.8+ years of analytical experience in digital and Direct Mail marketing. Ideal candidates will have specific experience from a membership-driven organization and/or insurance company.3+ years of experience managing people; proven ability to build, manage and incentivize high-performance analytical teams.Advanced Excel skills required; experience with SQL, SAS and/or Python is preferable to perform data aggregation, segmentation, and reporting.Hands-on experience with conversion rate optimization tools (Adobe Target, VWO, Optimizely, etc.), conversion analytics tools (Heap, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.).
