Basic Function:

Create visual communications that support Journeyman goals while maintaining brand and graphic standards. Source or create visual elements needed to achieve assigned marketing tasks. Conceive marketing solutions by surveying existing materials and applying brand and graphic standards to assigned tasks.

Sources or creates visual elements needed to achieve assigned marketing tasks.Conceives marketing solutions by surveying existing materials and applying brand and graphic standards to assigned tasks.Proposes concept solutions by designing rough layout of art and copy.Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.Prepares approved layouts for production, applying best practices.Contributes to team effort by providing polished and consistent visual communications and marketing across departments.Responds to requests for promotional materials.Designs promotional items for retail, prepares mock-ups for approval routing.Monitors paper and supplies, places requests for orders in a timely fashion.Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment.Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.The above list of essential job functions describes the general nature and level of work being performed in this job. Work habits include regular attendance, teamwork, initiative, dependability and promptness.Ability to work flexible schedule to include some weekend days.EDUCATIONAL, DEVELOPMENT AND WORK-RELATED EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications, or Graphic Design.Strong graphic designer with a solid understanding of graphic standards and production expertise.Good understanding of office management and marketing principles.Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.Experience with internal and external cross-functional work, developing systems that support excellence and improve communications.Experience sourcing, pricing, and overseeing vendors.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365, and online marketing applications.Expert user of Adobe Creative Suite.General knowledge of photography and video production is desirable.Familiarity with an Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) is a plus.
