Kahler Slater is seeking an Interior Designer with 3-10 years of Workplace experience for our Corporate, Hospitality + Residential team. Successful candidates are design forward, technically savvy, problem solvers, and passion players.

Guide project teams in all phases of service in the development and communication of design intent.Focus of this work will be on Workplace with ability to flex into hospitality or multi-family residential projects.Leadership:
Support an environment that encourages experimentation, innovation, and design creativity.Contribute to a high level of energy and enthusiasm in the firm, and foster a spirit of collaborative problem solving and design excellence.Represent the team with multiple Workplace clients, industry partners, contractors, consultants, and public authorities.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of an Interior Designer:BA or BS in Interior Design or Architecture with 3-10 years of experience on projects, with increasing responsibilities.Experience in Workplace and/or hospitality or residential building typologies.Strong communication skills, spoken, written, and graphic.Ability to work in Revit & Adobe Creative Suite.Skilled in workplace FF&E selection.Evidence of successful team-orientation and collaboration behaviors.Effective time management with multiple deadlines.Maintains a positive, professional attitude.Registered, or in progress to licensure, for Interior Design or Architecture.Working Relationships and Scope of an Interior Designer:Reports to Corporate, Hospitality + Residential Team Leaders.Work in a collaborative studio environment – mix of virtual and in person.Represents the firm in alignment with Kahler Slater’s core values.Interacts with external clients and partners.Working Conditions of an Interior Designer:Work is performed in a professional, collaborative, creative, open office environment. Great flexibility in your schedule is both required of you and returned to you due to our many project deadlines.
