Salary Range: $160,000-$205,000

Considering making an application for this job Check all the details in this job description, and then click on Apply.The Product Manager / Senior Product Manager – HCP Marketing will be responsible for the development and implementation of the launch and brand plan for an in-licensed asset that is being readied for launch into the Gout space in spring. Work is well underway – this person will pick up and drive to completion. This position will report into the Head of Marketing and work in collaboration with cross-functional team members, including field sales. Local candidates only. The role is based at our Palo Alto, CA headquarters (on-site, with flexibility for partial remote work).Key AccountabilitiesDevelop and drive the launch readiness plan.Continue market research to build a robust situation analysis.Continue development of the brand strategy based on the right insights.Develop a well-thought-out tactical plan – including personal promotion (i.e. driven by field sales), non-personal promotion (such as speakers’ bureau) and multichannel/omnichannel promotion.Lead Medical Education activities, spanning KOL engagement and advisory boards.Work with Sales Operation to define call plan.Assist with development of sales training.Manage partner agency relationships.Manage budgets.Work with analytics on performance of the brand and marketing programs.Interface with sales and sales leadership– key internal stakeholders.Ensure legal/regulatory compliance and medical accuracy of all marketing materials.Qualifications and Education RequirementsBachelor’s degree. MBA a plus.At least 5 years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in product marketing, or at least 3 years in product marketing and 2 years in a related function (eg sales, analytics). HCP promotion experience is required.Rheumatology/gout experience is a plus, but not mandatory.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated track record of success in a cross-functional and collaborative environment.Why Scilex and this roleScilex is growing rapidly to fill a vacuum that currently exists for non-opioid therapeutics in the Pain space.
