This means you can work from home and commute to a LinkedIn office, depending on what's best for you and when it is important for your team to be together, or you can work remotely from most locations within the country listed for this role.The Senior Marketing Manager I, Paid Media at LinkedIn will be an integral member of the centralized digital marketing team, which advances thought leadership on paid media strategies and implements best practices to drive LinkedIn’s global businesses. As Senior Marketing Manager, Paid Media, you will own, define and socialize (for alignment) the holistic media and growth strategies for our LinkedIn Talent Solutions business. In this role, you will work closely with our Hiring SMB business unit marketing partners to scale our paid media program substantially and grow revenue across all paid media channels.The ideal candidate is a data- and audience-driven marketer who enjoys questioning the status quo, building strategic partnerships, influencing decision-making without authority, and operating within imperfect data environments. This candidate should have:Strong thought leadership and a proven experience communicating and collaborating with senior stakeholders (Director+ levels)Experience in identifying and solving complex business problemsDeep experience in B2B and SaaS performance marketingRun large scale performance marketing campaigns for global businessesOverseen large budgets ($20M+ yearly) and programs that exceeded ROI targets across multiple platformsStrong proven experience in collaborating with and influencing teams across the globeResponsibilities:Leadership:Own and shape the overall paid media Hiring SMB performance story providing insights and results to business stakeholders and leadership.Influence decisions and drive process and strategy change as needed with internal stakeholdersUnderstand priorities and apply a variety of approaches to drive organizational change.Be recognized and known as the “go to” person for the program and issuesProvide thought leadership on new and emerging paid media channels and tacticsWork across organizations to leverage existing or identify/implement new solutions and/or channels for resource efficiency.Demonstrate strong and clear presentation skills. Inspire the team in business change initiatives including purpose, impact and value.Strategy and stakeholder communications and management:Serve as the primary liaison between the paid media team and assigned business unitsDefine holistic media strategy that drives acquisition targets and supports the overarching business strategy while ensuring alignment with business partners and bringing integration of all paid media channelsOrchestrate collaboration between and integration of all paid media channels to ensure optimal results.Create cross-organizational alignment by leading strategic discussions and business reviewsCommunicate project status to marketing leadership, teams and business partners.Paid media program management:Oversee audience centric paid media strategy and execution informed by comms planning and MMM and laddering up to the overall marketing strategyManage digital paid media agency to optimize campaigns, maintain efficiency, and expand reach proactivelyAnalyze campaign performance regularly and provide clear insights and future optimizations to drive growth for the businessMake spend shift recommendations across all channels and partner with analytics teams to deliver measurement analysesWork with external and internal marketing analytics partners for short term (i.e., LCA) and long term (i.e., MMM) measurement analysesProactively identify business problems and drive continuous improvement through implementation of new and creative ideas; develop a robust test and learn plan leveraging cross functional partnersMonitor and manage campaigns to meet and exceed targets for conversions and ROI within predetermined budgetsQualificationsBasic Qualifications:BA/BS degree in marketing or related field or equivalent experience.8+ years of digital marketing experience across various digital marketing channels, leading media strategy, A/B testing, scaling & optimizing spend and driving ROI.2+ years of experience managing or working within an ad agency.Preferred Qualifications:Offline marketing experience is a plus.Proven senior stakeholder exposure/management.Demonstrates strong and clear executive presentation skills.Experience in working in large scale TechExperience in collaborating with different teams throughout the world.Strong and clear communication and presentation skills to leadership level audiences (able to clearly articulate complex dependencies, solutions and digital marketing strategies).Able to drive tactical campaign execution, analyze performance, solve complex problems and drive results.Love to capitalize on new growth opportunities to scale businesses through a structured, curious, audience-first and data-driven approach.Proactive and resourceful attitude, independently taking initiative and leadership.Strong partnership capabilities with cross-functional teams.Suggested Skills:Paid Media StrategyAnalytical abilityStakeholder managementCollaborationCommunicationLinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $121,000 to $188,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
