REQUIREMENTS:

Define and drive the overall creation and innovation for the brand, ensuring alignment with our brand ethos, target audience, and market trends.Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept development and trend research to sketching, fabric selection and creation, and sample development. Oversee the creation of cohesive collections that reflect the brand's aesthetic and meet market demands and within target price goals.Manage and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their growth and development. Encourage a collaborative and innovative work environment that inspires creativity and excellence.Stay abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences, and market dynamics to anticipate emerging trends and opportunities. Translate insights into actionable design strategies that keep the brand ahead of the curve.Excellent eye for color and print/pattern.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, production, and sales, to ensure alignment across all aspects of the business and drive cohesive brand storytelling.Maintain high standards of quality and craftsmanship across all product categories. Conduct regular reviews and provide feedback to ensure that designs meet brand standards and customer expectations.Strong business aptitude and merchandising abilities, Balance creating well with Execution to buy and selling outcome, working on multi brands as a team leader.Calendar and time and action executor while balancing with creation

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field textile minor is a plusMinimum 7-10 years of experience in fashion design, with a focus on contemporary womenswearProven track record of success in a design leadership role, with experience leading design teams and developing commercially successful salesStrong ability to present your ideas: presentation skills are refined and excellentStrong creative vision and ability to translate trends into innovative design conceptsExcellent sketching and illustration skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design softwareDeep understanding of garment construction, fabrication, and manufacturing processesStrong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

PAY RATE: $100,000 - $185,000
