The VP is responsible for ensuring that our clients’ needs are addressed by the products they purchase and is accountable for forecasting and delivering strong revenue growth in all product lines.You will have overall responsibility for sales strategy development and execution, marketing and brand development, product and competitive positioning, and sales team leadership and collaboration. You will build and manage a team of sales and marketing professionals and work closely with the other members of the executive team. As VP of Sales and Marketing, you will report to the Executive Vice President.Job ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy and Execution:

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies, setting ambitious sales targets, and driving the achievement of revenue goals.Build and maintain a high-performance sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize their potential.Foster strong relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and industry influencers to expand the company's market reach.Lead the sales forecasting process, monitor sales performance, and implement corrective measures when necessary.Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to identify new sales prospects and capitalize on market shifts.Marketing And Brand Development:

Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to enhance the company's brand positioning and increase market penetration.Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling marketing campaigns, including digital marketing initiatives, content creation, trade shows, and conferences.Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and pain points, and translate insights into effective marketing strategies.Leverage marketing analytics to track campaign effectiveness, measure ROI, and continuously optimize marketing efforts.Develop and maintain a strong online presence, leveraging various digital channels to drive lead generation and customer engagement.Product And Competitive Positioning:

Collaborate closely with the product development team to align product roadmap and enhancements with market demands and customer needs.Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify unique selling propositions and develop strategies to differentiate our software offerings.Work cross-functionally with product management, sales, and marketing teams to develop effective sales tools, collateral, and presentations.Team Leadership And Collaboration:

Build and lead a high-performing sales and marketing organization, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members, empowering them to achieve their full potential.Foster collaboration and effective communication between sales, marketing, and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and shared goals.Participate in executive-level discussions and decision-making processes, contributing strategic insights and recommendations to support overall company growth.Experience

20+ years healthcare sales experience at a national levelA documented history of success in driving sales strategy for vertical market solutions within the healthcare spacePrevious experience building and leading sales organizationsDemonstrated success in forecasting bookings, meeting goals and quotas, and delivering both short and long-term revenue growthDetailed and extensive industry knowledge, including understanding of the full length and breadth of the senior care sector and detailed insight into the competitive landscapeFour-year degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
