Below covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.As a critical part of the marketing leadership team, the Vice President of Brand Marketing will oversee the team responsible for developing all holistic marketing plans for Little Caesars US. This is a highly visible and cross-functional role that will work to bring large-scale, high impact campaigns to market.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience developing strategic, innovative, comprehensive, and creative marketing campaigns for large consumer brands in a fast-paced environment. They must also have demonstrated the ability to drive consistent business results, even when faced with significant challenges. A successful leader must also be a collaborative relationship builder with the ability to inspire and motivate others while prioritizing people development.

This leader must have a strong understanding of the evolving media landscape and previous experience creating large-scale brand partnerships with demonstrated ability to identify earned media opportunities improving reach and engagement. The Vice President will harness creativity and flawless execution.

Key Responsibilities

Effectively oversee the brand function as the central hub of the domestic marketing department.

Lead the planning, development, and execution of comprehensive multiplatform marketing programs.

Maintain strategic oversight of all consumer-facing efforts companywide to prioritize learnings, feedback, ideas, and desires from all stakeholders.

Demonstrate sound strategic understanding and insight, and an ability to present clear strategic thinking.

Generate initiatives and ideas that will create further opportunities for great work.

Source, analyze and communicate relevant information necessary to make key strategic business decisions.

Ensure that strategies and plans result in the highest possible business benefit and ROI.

Collaborate with the creative, media, insights, international & field teams within the marketing department.

Partner cross-functionally with operations, IT, & other internal departments to develop the most effective plans & initiatives.

Effectively communicate recommendations, plans & results while inspiring confidence from senior leaders, franchisees and other key stakeholders.

Manage multiple critical priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines, executing flawlessly, & delivering business results.

Develop, nurture, & inspire a team of high-caliber marketing professionals who contribute positively to the organization.

Partner with Little Caesars’ world-class, external advertising agencies to help bring campaigns to life.

Consistently demonstrate proactivity and forward-thinking to anticipate issues and leverage opportunities.

Demonstrate an understanding of creative strategy and use it to evaluate and defend work when needed.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B. S.) from a four-year college or university, MBA preferred.

Minimum 10-15 years progressive Marketing/Advertising experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience delivering smart and effective content-led strategies and overseeing content development and publishing.

Minimum 5 years leadership experience, including setting strategic direction and managing experienced direct reports at management levels.

Minimum 5 years people management experience.

Significant franchise QSR experience preferred.

Must have demonstrated experience in managing a marketing budget.

Experience in project management, strategic alternatives analysis and business case development.

Experience driving brand and marketing messages through all forms of media, including traditional and digital platforms.

Strong track record of success in developing successful data-driven marketing communication strategy and driving execution and business results.

Broad based business acumen; demonstrated ability to collaborate with business leaders and manage multiple projects across organizational lines.

Proven leadership capability and ability to lead and manage organizational change – Prior supervisory and people management experience is required.

Strong understanding of strategic, focused, and integrated marketing programs and plans that enhance and strengthen the brand and connect with key stakeholders.

A passion for customer insight and staying abreast and applying current capabilities to foundational data-driven marketing principles is highly desired.

Experience leading and developing a successful organization that delivers sustainable and profitable growth.

Strong leadership, excellent communication and effective relationship building skills.

Effective presentation skills and ability to influence at the executive level.

Demonstrated expertise in developing and managing agency partnerships, ability to guide messaging and vision throughout the lifecycle of the relationship.

Ability to develop and drive a consolidated point of view and create actionable insights and solutions that optimize performance.
