An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Proven HSR Track Designer to join this highly respected growing global Engineering and Technology blue-chip company.
As a Track Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing the design and construction of high-speed rail tracks, ensuring the technical feasibility of the project, and providing technical support to the client. This role allows for some remote work.
You will have the opportunity to participate in innovative and high-level technological projects at an international level, collaborating with a multidisciplinary and highly qualified team.
Responsibilities:
Solid experience in High Speed Rail (+300 km/h) track design and construction (Ideally experience within Europe on HSR)
Experience developing track components specifications, managing suppliers and designing track construction logistics
Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley InRoads / OpenRoads / OpenRail
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley InRoads / OpenRoads / OpenRail
Knowledge of Rail European Standards
Understanding of technical feasibility, risk analysis, and mitigation strategies
Experience with relevant software, such as Office, CAD and BIM tools
Strong project and team management skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Experience in the US standards (AREMA, AASHTO, ASTM) and rail market is a plus
This role is open to US Sponsorship for the right individuals. It is highly desired that you have previous experience within the European HSR market.
