Out of the Box Theatrics is seeking a creative, collaborative, and strategic Marketing Director to lead marketing and audience development efforts that support a growing Off-Broadway company. This position will work closely with the Director of Social Media to create and execute a cohesive plan to advance the company’s mission, brand, and programs across all channels.This position is currently 3 days a week with the potential to transition to a full-time position.Reports to: Artistic Director

Exemplary collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbalA strong track record of accomplishments that show increased responsibility and the ability to successfully deliver complex projectsStrong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills; experience efficiently managing several projects while meeting respective deadlinesExcellent problem-solving abilities and confidence to adapt to changing circumstancesThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamMeticulous copy-editing skills and attention to detailStrong understanding of current marketing and social media strategies and trendsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Social Media, and Design/Layout softwareAbility to work remotely and in office (reliable internet, phone, and computer)2+ years of marketing and/or social media managementKnowledge and understanding of the theatre industryNon-profit experience is a plusGraphic Design and Photography experience is desirableFlexibility to work occasional nights and weekends in alignment with significant events the company hosts.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop the institution’s communication strategy and marketing objectives, strategy, and tacticsManage advertisement campaigns and routine e-blastsCreate and oversee marketing assets both digital and printEnsure timely and successful execution of all team deliverablesSet, track, and analyze clear and measurable metrics to regularly inform marketing and sales strategyCollaborate with Artistic staff to identify and activate opportunities to build community and increase diversity among show audiencesOversee the company’s digital presence, including the website, email communications, and social mediaCollaborate with the Social Media Director to create and execute a cohesive plan to advance the company’s mission, brand, and programs across all channelsLOCATIONHybridTheatre 154154 Christopher Street, #1ENew York, NY 10014

COMPENSATION$25/hour

COMMITMENTThis position is currently a flexible 3 days a week with the potential to transition to a full-time position.
