The Position:

Zendesk is looking for an experienced Director of Marketing Operations to lead our global MOp's organization. We need a strategic thinker and tactical executor who understands automation best practices, marketing technologies, lead management, data integrity, and process optimization. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure our processes are robust, efficient, and aligned with our overall business strategy.

Your Mission:

You will:Lead four teams of marketing operations professionals specializing in marketing automation, lead management, prospect data, and campaign operations.Champion operational excellence within the division, driving innovation and efficiency.Align marketing operations initiatives with broader marketing and organizational goals.Own the Marketo strategy, implementation, and optimization to drive our global marketing automation transformation.Collaborate with the Go-To-Market (GTM) Ops team to establish and refine performance metrics for informed decision-making.Resolve operational challenges swiftly, suggesting systems and process improvements for scalable growth.Establish, document, and enforce marketing operations processes to enhance efficiency and maintain data integrity.Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to boost operational efficiencies.Act as a key liaison between marketing, sales, IT, and other departments to ensure support and alignment for marketing programs.Drive professional development and performance management of the marketing operations team.Contribute to strategic planning and marketing strategy development.We are seeking a curious and passionate leader with:

Experience: At least 8-10 years in a comparable role, ideally within a high-growth SaaS environment.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of marketing automation, CDP and lead management systems, particularly Adobe & Marketo, and their integration with CRM and APIs.Analytics: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, derive insights, and make informed business decisions.Leadership: A dedicated team advocate, fostering a collaborative environment while steering both individual and collective achievements.Multitasking: Adept at managing multiple initiatives, from broad-scale projects to immediate operational demands.Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Attitude: Proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The US annualized base salary range for this position is $163,000.00-$245,000.00. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives. While this range reflects the minimum and maximum value for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, the offer for the successful candidate for this position will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other factors such as work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only (or OTE for commissions based roles), and do not include bonus, benefits, or related incentives.
