HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:This role typically reports to a Designer and is based in our Buckhead office in our hybrid/ in-office work environment (4 days/week in-office).Assists in facilitating all aspects of design: from concept to final development of productAssists in all aspects of daily follow up with external and internal business partners, i.e. email communicationSketches in illustrator and updates silo matrix accordinglyParticipates in fit processUpdates styles in Flex PLMParticipate & contribute in a meaningful way regarding product design during design meetingsLearns the creative process as well as observing other team members in the day-to-day workingsFills bodies with art in blow up and working line sheet form (where time permits)Assembles boards for account presentations (attaches color copies to boards and wraps mill punches for presentation)Prepares and updates style adopt line sheetPrepares proto requestsUpkeeps color rings each season for supervisor onlyCommunicates progress of above tasks with SupervisorFocuses on learning the creative process as well as observing the Design Manager and/or Associate Designer in the day-to-day workingsWE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:Must have:
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.2 strongly preferred)Enrollment in a Bachelor/Master's degree program at the time of the internship (certificate programs are not eligible)Availability to start on the designated start date in May 2025Availability to work for a minimum of 10 out of the 11 weeks of the defined internship period which runs from May-AugustExcellent communication and analytical skills as well as have basic knowledge of garment construction, silhouettes, color ways, sewing techniques, fabrication and trimAbility to interpret supervisor's directionAbility to act as liaison between many departmentsProficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesignPrevious design work experience through internships or courseworkPreferred skills and experience:
