This individual partners with the Development & Marketing team to implement grants and fundraising strategic initiatives which will contribute to the overall viability and sustainability of the organization.Assist the Development Director in marketing for Community Hope as well as its programs. This includes developing and implementing the marketing strategy; advertising, collateral materials, and social media marketing of the program, including E-blasts, Facebook, etc.Coordinate all of Community Hopes media and social media including regular postings on social media, the agency website, brochures and collateral materials.Assist with coordination of special events and perform additional duties as required including maintaining registrants and attendees, event publications, and advertising.Coordinate and manage the Annual Flag Day 5K and Fun walk. Responsibilities for this event include solicitations for sponsorships, advertising for participants and donors, registration of all participants, managing the events of the day, and outside vendors.Manage fundraising pages for special events such as the 5K Runs, NYC Marathon, gala events, silent auctions, etc.Assist with all fundraising appeals, including drafting appeal letters, completing the mass mailing or email appeal process, tracking donor gifts, and sending out appeal acknowledgments.Maintain donor database and donor files ensuring all information is correct and updated. Enter data for gifts and keep uniform records and information for all donors and produce acknowledgment letters for donor gifts.Manage online donation software; create online forms, download data, process donations, produce acknowledgment letters for donations, and provide batch information to the Finance Department.Provide reports of events and fundraising campaigns and activities to the Development Director as needed.Provide the Grants Officer assistance as needed in preparing grant proposals and grant reports.Develop and maintain relationships with corporate donors and all stakeholders.Work on special projects as needed and assume additional responsibilities as assigned by the Development Director and/or the Executive Director.Utilize good customer service skills in working with funders, contributors, stakeholders, leadership, and employees to cultivate positive giving experiences.Qualifications:BA in related discipline. Minimum of 3-5 years experience of documented fundraising experience.Experience using Raisers Edge or other compatible fundraising software.Knowledge of MS Office.
