Position Title: Marketing AssistantDepartment: MarketingFLSA Status: Non-Exempt/SeasonalEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesJob Summary:Under the direct supervision of the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant will providesupport to the overall marketing strategy for the Rose Bowl Stadium in the areas of socialmedia, email communication, content creation, graphic design projects, trade agreementtracking, and major event marketing recaps.Job Functions:• Assist the Marketing Manager with the implementation, tracking, and measurement ofvarious marketing campaigns including but not limited to social media, emailcommunication, ad placement, event promotion and operational messaging.• Assist with creating content for weekly social media campaigns• Assist with creating content for sales/revenue-supporting materials (decks, brochures,flyers, etc.)• Maintain social media calendar to ensure all promotional efforts are tracked andexecuted• Attend weekly social media meetings and provide updates on the Stadium's behalf• Brainstorm and gather content for various graphic design projects (stadium/golf coursesignage, event sales collateral, event operational messaging, etc.)• Assist with email communication efforts (quarterly newsletter, partner emailpromotion, database organization/segmentation, etc.)• Assist with day of event photography and event recap video reels• Create and gather materials for major event marketing recap decks• Manage internal trade agreement tracking and administration• Assist the Marketing Manager with managing the Marketing budget and PO purchasing• Oversee client gifting and premium orders• Assist the Marketing Manager, Chief Revenue Officer, Senior Director ofCommunications, Senior Event Sales Manager, and other key Rose Bowl Stadium staffon special projectsMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, skills, and abilities)Knowledge of:• Marketing• Social Media• Event Management• Sales• Graphic Design• Photography• Venue operations• Purchasing• Business administration practices• Budgeting• Basic human resources practices• Basic public safety practices• Americans with Disabilities ActProficiency in Use/Application of the following:• Social Media Platforms (including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn)• Microsoft Office 365 (including but not limited to Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)• Adobe Creative Suites (including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)• Canva (or other similar design tools)• Mailchimp (or other similar email communication platforms)• SalesforceSkills in:• Graphic Design• Report writing and presentation• Teamwork/player• Multi-tasking• Problem solving• Customer service• Organization skillsAbility to:• Create a responsive and positive experience for potential and existing clients• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing• Resolve conflicts• Provide high level of customer service• Assess customer satisfaction• Prioritize projects• Follow-through with requests to ensure project completion• Work occasional weekend days, long hours and overtimeEducation and experience:• Bachelors Degree, Marketing concentration is preferred• One to three years of experience in sports entertainment and/or venue eventmanagementLicenses and Certifications:• Class C driver's license and satisfactory driving recordMaterial and equipment used:• Computers• Office machines• Golf/utility cart• Two-way radios• Cell phone/mobile data deviceThe Rose Bowl is an equal opportunity employer.
