The Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust seeks a Director of Marketing to raise awareness of the Museum across media from print and digital to audio and video, and social. This position helps lead the reputation and brand of the Museum through its various marketing and communication channels as well as onsite. This includes assisting in the shaping of the strategy and content of all advertising and promotions, public relations, media outreach and response, website and social media profiles, graphics, signage, and other branded items. The Director of Marketing is a key position within the Communications team, reporting to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications and managing three direct reports.

Responsibilities:Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to raise the Museum’s profile and increase engagement.Help build audiences for Public Programs, Educational, and Exhibitions.Participateas an active team member in the Marketing and Communications department and develop and

work with content across all Museum departments.Create language and collateral to express the components of MJH's mission to diverse internaland external

stakeholders.Provide leadership, guidance, feedback, and mentorship to a team of three marketing and communications professionals. Fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.Collaboratewith other departments to helpcontribute to marketing and programming initiatives.

Oversee content creation team and execution for all social media platforms, emails, postcards, brochures, onsite signage, invitations, blog posts, and web page material.

Develop and leverage analytics to drive effective messages and conversion for Museum initiatives.Create, edit, and proofread marketing materials ensuring consistency and alignment with the museum’s messaging.Manage internal communication updates, by sharing talking points for relevant stakeholders to use.Evaluate and recommend new marketing technologies and tools to enhance overall marketing efficiency.Requirements:Minimum of 6 years of Marketing & Communications with progressive experience within a museum, cultural, Jewish, or non-profit organization.Ability to ground relationships with audiences in Jewish culture and values.Superior written and oral communication skills, ability to write and speak in clear, crisp, and compelling ways, and to articulate the goals, mission, and values of the Museum.Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and communications strategies, with a focus on storytelling and historical narratives.Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a team.Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality, error-free work.Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail ,

and meeting deadlines.Fluency with Office 365 and experience with website CRM systems (Raisers Edge or Altru preferred)Familiar with Google Analytics, proficient in digital marketing, social media, and content management systems.Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics, and research tools and techniques.Strong analytical and project management skills.Ability to work occasional evenings and Sundays.2-year community college, B.A. or B.S. degree required.Position Details:Reports to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications.Manages: 3 direct reports.Salary compensation range: $90,000,000 –110,000with generous benefits.The successful candidate will expect to work onsite. (Limited/occasional telecommuting arrangements may be considered.)
