Daydreamer is hiring a Designer for Apparel
ResponsibilitiesDesign of our collection including cut-n-sew, garment dye knits, tees, fleece, pants, graphic tees and solid fashion basicsTrend researchDesign direction seasonally and for projectsProduct DevelopmentSourcing fabrics, washes, trimsMaintain relationships with vendors and find new ones when necessaryExtensive knowledge of garment dye, graphic teesDesign new silhouettesManage Patternmaker and sample roomColor palette development, lab dips, corrections, ink colorsMaintain strict deadlinesCommunicate effectivelyMerchandisingCads and presentations
Qualifications5 years experience minimum in knits designAdobe creative suite proficiencyAbility to see the development of a product through from concept to completionExtensive knowledge of domestically apparel costing and production methodsExperience in graphic tees is a must
