We are currently looking for a Plumbing Designer who desires to design high quality plumbing systems for commercial buildings while collaborating with a team of engineers, architects, and contractors in the Denver Metro Area, and throughout Colorado.
We have been designing Mechanical and Plumbing systems for commercial buildings throughout Colorado for over 20 years. Our primary focus are projects for K-12 and higher education, but also work in other commercial markets as well. We are looking to hire employees who match our company’s value for creating high quality work that provides value to our clients. You will play a key role in leading this company in its continuing growth.
At our firm you will be given the opportunity to work closely with a small team of mechanical and plumbing engineers, drafters, and designers on a wide variety of projects. You will be an integral part in collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, contractors, and owners to successfully design and implement the individual needs of these project.
Requirements:6+ years of experienceAssociates Degree or Advanced Technical TrainingCPD Recommended.Design and drafting experience with CAD and/or Revit.Design experience in commercial, industrial, and multifamily residential facilities.A practical knowledge of the IPC, IFGC, IBC, IECC, and current construction methods.Design experience in completing plumbing design calculations such as fixture tabulation, water service, pressure loss calculations, and equipment sizing.Plumbing system sizing including sanitary/vent, domestic water, roof drainage, and natural gas.Understanding of complete plumbing systems including piping, equipment, and components
