Company DescriptionWe are an Afrobeats & Amapiano event organization. We currently tour year round and have monthly residencies in over 5 cities. Our organization is currently run by 2 people and is beginning to move into the next phase of growth. We organize events, we book venues, we book artists, we book travel, we communicate with our attendees and community, we maintain our social media, we manage content and much more.
Role DescriptionWe need someone to help produce, organize and manage our events. You will be responsible for everything that goes into an event from the initial idea to the plan and execution. Tasks include managing ticketing, organizing social media advertising, managing ad campaigns, pitching venues, managing artist deals and travel, managing designer deliverables, directing photographers/videographers, managing budgets, and ensuring the smooth running of events. Amongst other growing responsibilities.
QualificationsWe need someone who is willing to be part of our family and not just interested in clocking in and outWe need someone who is well versed in business communicationsThis position could be part-time or full time depending on your goals and expectationsInterest in Afrobeats & Amapiano music is a plus, however we are prioritizing those candidates with experience in managing or operating small business assets, growing brands and coordinating operations of teams/groups/businessesYou will need to manage many different tasks at onceYou will need to have 10-20 hours a week minimum and be available outside of standard 9-5 hoursMost of this work will be remote, unless the event is large and then onsite management will be required
