Job DescriptionLocation- World Resource Center in Ann Arbor, MI

Shift - Standard 40 hour work week 8-5

Salary- 110K-120K (Based on experience) 15% Bonus

Job Summary

The Marketing Procurement Lead Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the procurement and strategic sourcing activities related to marketing services and products. As a key member of the centralized strategic sourcing team, this position will assist in maximizing efficiencies, deliver value to the marketing function, reduce risk where it exists today, and further our competitive advantage through marketing strategy execution. Working closely with internal functional colleagues and leaders, this role involves designing developing procurement marketing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and securing optimal value to support the company’s marketing objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing trends, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record executing procurement strategies. The role will be an individual contributor, will manage category spend up to $200MM, and will collaborate with the Procurement Shared Services team for execution.

Strategic Sourcing

Conduct the procurement sourcing process to develop RFI/RFP events, analyze and summarize RFP response data with consideration for the total cost of ownership, and generate materials for negotiations and presentations

Lead and support contract negotiations for strategic and complex contracts

Develop and implement procurement strategies for marketing services and products, aligning with the company’s marketing goals

Effectively communicate program details from top down according to established guidelines, policies, and protocols

Identify and drive productivity, cost savings, and cost avoidance, and document the value generated from the procurement process.

Establish and maintain relationships with Suppliers who can provide goods/services that meet Domino’s specifications, superior service, and competitive prices

Ensures compliance to contract management process. Responsible for analyzing various inputs (ranging from cost, quality, support, service) and execute best value sourcing solutions and ensuring they are managed effectively once executed

Maintain effective supplier relationships to continuously drive value beyond price

Stay informed about marketing trends, new marketing technologies, and pricing dynamics to drive continuous improvement.

Leadership & Team Member Management

Work closely with the marketing team to understand their needs and align procurement activities against their objectives

Create and maintain strong partnerships with peers and leaders within the marketing function

Take direction from the Director to lead assigned projects as driven from the marketing leadership team’s annual project objectives and overall budget

Solve problems with others. Involve others in matters that impact them. Works towards cross-functional “win-win” solutions

Collaborate with business partners to assess strategic needs, understand budgets, and build project calendars

Mentor, motivate, develop, and act as a role model and resource to team members

QualificationsDemonstrated and sustained ability to create and maintain collaborative stakeholder relationshipsBachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldMinimum 3-5 years’ procurement experience. Marketing industry (or other applicable experience) requiredBroadcast and Social media sourcing and contract negotiation experienceStrong oral and written communication skillsExcellent negotiation skillsExperience with managing internal and external relationships at multiple levelsStrong analytical skillsExperience developing category strategiesExperience developing integration strategies/agreements and managing implementation across internal and external partnersAbility to manage multiple high priority programs simultaneously without losing momentum or focusMust be able to excel in a fast-paced environment and continually seek to expand responsibilities
