Description:This position is responsible for revising existing drawings and preparing new drawings of basic components from explicit verbal or written instructions or detailed sketches associated with civil design/engineering.Successfully plots drawings; learns and follows company and client drafting standards and procedures; understands the practices of a selected discipline.The candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality drawings for the team while following the quality procurement process and must be highly detail-oriented.Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:An associate degree in computer-aided drafting and design is desirable.*Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering field is not allowed. *2 to 5 years of experience required.Candidate must be proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage different tasks for different projects simultaneously when needed.Excellent written & verbal communication skills.Mastered basic commands of AutoCAD/MicroStation (ability to use higher-level commands, timesaving programs, and routines occasionally).Candidate must perform at a high level when it comes to quality while adapting fast to clients.Knowledge of other programs would be a big plus for the position.Candidate must be detail-oriented (paper and in-person) and have very good/strong communication skills.OpenRoads and/or OpenSite experience preferred.
