Senior Instructional Designer Job Summary:We’re looking for a

Senior Instructional Designer

to join a leading information services company in

Irving, TX . This will be a hybrid opportunity requiring you to be in the office at least one day per week. The Senior Instructional Designer will lead the creation of engaging, transformative instructional content for our global enterprise teams. This role requires a deep understanding of digital learning techniques, theory, and learning deployment tactics to develop creative experiences that drive learning of knowledge, development of skill and even behavior change. You will work closely with global stakeholders including business teams, leaders, HRBPs and other COEs, to design digital learning solutions that align with business objectives and learner needs.

Senior Instructional Designer Responsibilities:Designs, develops and implements a cutting-edge, digital learning approach to enterprise programs with a creative mindset towards learning.Leverages strong consultation skills with stakeholders to ensure training strategies meet the learning needs.Apply tested instructional design theories, practices and methods.Reviews and maintains existing learning programs to ensure relevancy and accuracy of content.Contributes to reporting, tracking, and measuring effectiveness of learning solutions.May be asked to facilitate some instructor led trainings.Be the voice of the learner, ensuring that their needs are at the forefront of our educational efforts and help our team iterate and improve on our content offerings.Use your deep knowledge of how people learn and grow to design innovative, and even radical, educational content.Identify learning objectives, behavioral outcomes, key moments for learning intervention and evaluative strategies to deliver education.Lead and manage projects through the development lifecycle, providing clear timelines through all phases, providing quality assurance oversight of educational materials, and communicating with cross-functional stakeholders for successful implementation.Lead change by researching and suggesting new and creative approaches to deliver engaging content to learners.Maintain company branding throughout content and collaborate with the marketing team for materials.

Senior Instructional Designer Qualifications:Bachelor Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.Deep instructional design experience; ideally, 5+ years of digital learning design experience.Facilitation experience preferred.Knowledge of ADDIE development process; expert knowledge of digital authoring tools (Articulate 360, Rise, Adobe Captivate, Vyond, etc.).Ability to troubleshoot SCORMs and LMS integrations.Experience in corporate learning, performance consultation, or similar role.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience with learning platforms (Workday’s LMS preferred). Experience with Learning Dashboards & metrics.Proven ability to collaborate with a wide variety of colleagues, employing diplomacy to achieve outcomes.Proven ability to successfully manage leading multiple projects and processes in a dynamic, matrix environment with a complex map of stakeholders.Strong understanding of knowledge & content management strategies.Experience creating large scale educational programs for a global audience and the ability to account for regional, cultural, and generational differences.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple work streams and influence deliverables in a highly matrixed organization structure.Mastery of written communication.Proven ability to work in a multicultural, global organization.Insatiable curiosity and deep empathy.Ability to work in a fast pace, ever-changing environment.
