Together, we will build on our company’s long history and keep on leading the way to a better world.Discover your exciting roleSenior Designer, BIM/VDC - is responsible for supporting reality capture and layout for the VDC Lead, Coordinators, and Designers.Explore Your Tasks And ResponsibilitiesPerforms maintenance and calibration of equipmentVerifies the accuracy of CAD/Model coordinate data vs. existing field conditions on job siteGenerates field impact reports to BIM Coordinator/ Project ManagerIdentifies and resolves complex issues relating to layout and site conditionsWillingness to learn new means and methods for layout and technology advancementsEvaluates field problems and issue RFIsPrepares, coordinates, and verifies as-built data in CAD softwareEvaluates construction installations relative to 3D coordinated modelsPrepares “shop drawing” level 3D models for field routed workAssists in resolving model constructability issues and solutions for self-performed workProvides software training to field employeesOther duties may be assignedShow your expertiseHigh School Diploma or GED requiredBachelor’s degree preferred4 - 8 + years of experiencePrior experience in design, creation, and modeling of Process, Pharmaceutical, Mechanical, and plumbing systems preferredAbility to operate a Laser ScannerAbility to register scansCapability to understand project scope for appropriate scanning needs for detailing and constructionAbility to operate a Robotic Total station to assist with layout from construction modelAbility to collect relevant x,y,z coordinates from model data and transfer the point layout in field for installations of systemsKnowledge of current industry practices with regard to installation of various MEP systemsExpert level of Autodesk 2018+: AutoCAD, Fabrication, Navisworks Manage, and RevitExpert level Autodesk Recap Pro 2018+Expert Level Faro SceneExpert level of trade related code and design principles.
