Senior Wovens Designer Residential

Swavelle Group, is one of the most diverse leaders in the textile industry supplying furniture manufacturers, retailers, residential and contract jobbers, and the RV industry. We have an immediate opening for a Woven Designer to join our team.

Woven Senior Designer:The person will work closely with the head of Design in developing new woven product for the Residential market. They will be responsible for the day-to-day management and collaboration with the design team.

Woven Responsibilities:o Work collaboratively with wovens upholstery team on collectionso

Create strategic concepts for patterns for each open line collectiono

Research and design new construction ideas for collectionso

Strong color sense and aid in color selectionso

Strong ability to create original art and adjust for wovenso

Analyze sales and market trendso

Source new opportunities to grow within our collectionso

Work on customer specific projects and attend meetingso

Maintain Smartsheet for projectso

Attend Interwoven and market shows as necessary

Skill Set:·

10+ years of design experience in digital and woven industry·

Education: BFA in Textile Design·

Proficient in EAT, Photoshop·

Proficient in Excel, Word Proficient in Microsoft Office·

Highly organized and be able to work autonomously·

Communicate and maintain product development process from concept to launch
