Part-Time Graphic Designer and WordPress Editor
Seattle | Remote | Part-Time | $40/hr
Landmark Event Co is a house brand containing 7 venues, a catering company and a speakeasy. Each one is it's own unique brand while falling under the Landmark umbrella. We are seeking a talented part-time designer for production design and website upkeep. As our company grows so will design opportunities. While the job will be 80% production design and website upkeep there will be opportunities for portfolio level work.
Responsibilities:- Create visually appealing graphics for digital and print media like flyers, signage, and more.- Ensure all designs are consistent with brand identity and convey the intended message clearly and effectively.- Update and maintain website content via Wordpress Elementor, ensuring all information is accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for SEO.- Work with the marketing and content teams to create and publish new pages, blog posts, and other web content.- Customize and enhance the WordPress site using themes, plugins, and custom code as needed.- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues on the WordPress site.- Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input on various projects.- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills.- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.- Experience with WordPress and Elementor, including editing content, managing themes and plugins, and basic HTML/CSS skills.- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.- Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus.- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Work Schedule:- This is a part-time position with flexible hours. The candidate must be able to accommodate one check in meeting a week with the Marketing Department Manager.- Must feel comfortable with project management software.-Must track hours via Nowsta
