Interior Designer

Multi-Office architecture and interior design firm is seeking a highly motivated, self-starting individual for an interior designer position. Candidate must possess excellent design skills and be a willing collaborator with the project teams. Role will include working directly with the client to create initial design brief through presentation materials and finish interior drawings. The office environment is an open, collaborative, high energy studio where the candidate must be organized and communicative to ensure project deadlines are met.

Summary Description:5 years of experience, minimumLicensure preferred but not requiredA CIDA-Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or approved equivalent.Manages multiple projectsCoordinates all aspects of assigned projectsDevelops creative design concepts & solves design problems for projectsPrepare illustrative presentations, design drawings and detailsPortfolio: a diverse portfolio showcasing completed projects across various styles and settingsIndustry Knowledge: familiarity with the latest trends, materials, and technologies in interiorsTime management: ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlinesAttention to detail: strong attention to detail in every aspect of the design process

Key Technical Skills:Strong skills with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Suites, Rendering software and MS officeGood understanding of ADA & building codes associated with interior designGood understanding of the interiors’ scope of servicesAbility to effectively communicate with municipal officials, clients and contractors
