KDCA Visualization Specialist (Entry ~ Mid)

KDCA Junior | Mid-Level Visualization SpecialistHyundai KIA America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is currently looking for a Junior or Mid-level Visualization Specialist to join our team at KIA Design Center in Irvine, CACandidates must meet the following criteria:Ability to work in a collaborative team atmosphere with an open, positive attitudePossess knowledge in the elements and principles of design, composition, 3D modeling, real-world lighting, and visual storytellingLead visual design work from ideation to mock-ups and implementationUtilize Autodesk VRED, Unreal Engine, Blender, Premier Pro, AfterEffects, and Photoshop to develop and deliver renderings, animations, and VR experiences that communicate the KIA brand coherently across digital and print mediumsPrepare and execute presentations with various visualization tools including: Videowall, Virtual reality, Mixed reality, and Augmented reality systems3D Visual Artists are required to create photo real renderings of projects including animations, creative lighting, Atmospherics, texturing, unwrapping, and 3D modelling of scenery assetsPrepare and translation 3d data to and from applications such as: Alias, Catia, VRED, Blender, UnrealCreate compelling visualizations and animations from Alias and polygonal data for weekly/monthly design reviews with Design teams using VRED or Unreal EngineCreate repeatable creative animations and rigging, realistic interaction with the environment, and suspension movement in Unreal EngineWork closely with cross-disciplinary teams to understand their needs and anticipate and prepare for visualization needsMeet design specifications from Engineering and deadlines established by Design ManagersOrganize and prepare files for Design reviews and presentation materialsMaintain clean and safe work environmentUp to 20% of domestic and/or international travel

Compensation$125,000~$140,000

Required Experience:Design Degree preferred but High School Diploma or Technical or Vocational training in creating/editing animations/videos, VRED, and Unreal Engine may be consideredProfiency in Premier Pro, AfterEffects, Photoshop, VRED, Blender and Unreal Engine2+ years’ experience in creating renderings and realistic animations for an Automotive OEMValid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record
