Woburn Massachusetts 01801Onsite Requirements:Autodesk InventorCAD Design/DraftingRF/Defense backgroundJob Description:Provides drafting/design support for radio frequency (RF) and/or wireless transmission design. To produce all types of drawings using computer generated methods in accordance with specified drawing standards.To create 3D CAD models (Inventor) of parts and assemblies in support of new product design and development.Generate documentation, drawings, and layouts in support of new product design and development.Generate Engineering Change Orders to maintain engineering documentation.Incorporation of drawing changes of existing product documentation.To create supporting illustrations and documentation for product assembly fixtures, procedures and proposals.Perform Document Control function by distributing of Engineering Change Orders and Controlled Prints. Recalls obsolete documents.Perform other tasks, as required, to support engineering and production documentation efforts.Ability to work in a team environmentMinimum:Two-year minimum trade or technical school specializing in Design and DraftingWorking knowledge of 3D CAD design software (Autodesk AutoCAD)Good space relationship of three-dimensional objects and assembliesSelf-starter that works independently on assigned taskGood organization and filling skillsWorking knowledge of ASME Y14.100 Engineering Drawing Practices.Working knowledge of Mil Specification and StandardsUS Citizenship requiredPreferred:Good Electrical and Mechanical design concept skills (machined enclosures for electronics a plus)Working knowledge of Mil Specification and StandardsStrong oral and written communication skills to interface with key internal and external customersStrong analytical skillsAssociates Degree of Science in Mechanical EngineeringRequires a degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness to design and deliver highly advanced solutionsBackground in defense industry** This client is a US Federal Government contractor and is legally required to hire US Citizens.
