Proposal AutoCAD Designer:
• This position focuses on system layout of process equipment which entails the integration, installation of equipment/conveyors for Automotive and Industrial Paint Shop Facilities. Develop complete proposal drawing package for bid purposes.
Skills:
• AutoCAD, paint shop process flow, paint shop design, system layout, equipment layout, system design, HVAC knowledge, automotive manufacturing, and industrial shop layouts.• MUST have previous experience working within Industrial Paint Process (Paint Shop / Spray Booths etc).
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of AutoCAD experience.• Four-year engineering, technical Degree, or relevant experience preferred.• Previous experience designing in AutoCAD 2D (3D capabilities a plus but not a necessary requirement).• Previous experience designing manufacturing layouts (ideally paint shops, conveyor layout, and basic understanding of related process equipment).o Including Pre-Treatment, Washers, Electrocoat, Ovens, Spray booths, Paint and Sealer Automation as well as miscellaneous work decks.• Previous experience designing in automotive or manufacturing conveyor and material handling systems.o OH P&F, power roll bed conveyors, monorail, VDL, and transfers.• Experience with HVAC and Process piping systems.• Performing engineering calculations includingo Process Flow parameters (JPH, job centers, conveyor speed, cycle times)o Process air flow design for duct work and HVAC equipment sizing.o Basic fluid design for pump and pipe sizing.• Basic architectural understanding for roof opening and floor loading design.• Comfortable in a manufacturing facility when traveling to the field to check equipment.• Team collaboration.
Remuneration & Benefits:
Base Salary – $110K - $110KBonus - Discretionary 10 - 30% paid out annuallyPotential overtime availableVacation – Negotiable401K – 5% match on total earningsMedical, Dental, and Vision benefit package
