CMAs headquarters are in Fort Lauderdale with offices in Miami, West Palm Beach, Orlando, and Jacksonville. The firm also has satellite and/or project offices in Atlanta, Gainesville, Jupiter, Port St. Lucie, Sarasota, and Tampa. CMA currently employs over one hundred and thirty (130) professionals throughout the State of Florida, which affords our valued clients top-level service.
Chen Moore and Associates is hiring an AutoCAD Designer. Candidates should be able to efficiently plan and organize workload, demonstrate success working with a team of professionals, a commitment to quality, good communication skills, and a positive work ethic. The AutoCAD Designer will work in the team for a variety of civil infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities include:
Plans preparation of public works underground utilities projects, rehabilitation and stormwater improvement projects, and new site development projects. Work closely with the engineer utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D to create construction documents for all aspects of civil engineering with a focus on water, sewer, and drainage systems, as well as roadway, paving and grading designs. Conform to appropriate CAD standards and best practices. Evaluate and implement CAD specifications defined by clients. Perform quantity take-offs. 10+ years of CAD experience on civil engineering projects with a civil engineering consulting firm. Experience with other design applications, such as GIS. Strong sense of urgency, project responsibility and initiative. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
