Position Overview:We are seeking a talented Technical and Proposal Writer to join our team and contribute to the creation of federal contract proposals as well as comprehensive technical documentation for our AI, SaaS, and defense products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and a strong technical background.
Responsibilities:Collaborate with U.S. Government / DoD Contractor cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather information and understand product functionalities.Contribute to the proposal team’s capability to draft, refine, and submit technical proposals for federal contracts.Create and maintain technical documentation such as user manuals, API documentation, release notes, technical guides, and white papers.Translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise content suitable for different audiences including end-users, developers, and stakeholders.Ensure documentation adheres to industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.Conduct reviews and updates of existing documentation to ensure accuracy, relevance, and completeness.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Masters degree preferred.Proven experience as a Proposal Technical Writer in AI, SaaS, or defense industries.Strong understanding of AI concepts, SaaS platforms, and defense technologies.Proficiency in documenting complex technical information in a clear and structured manner.Familiarity with standard digital office tools: Microsoft suite, etc.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
