All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.The role at a glance: NBBJ Los Angeles is seeking an Interior Designer that would initially focus on our thriving FFE design practice. The candidate would join integrated project teams working on a variety of project types including Healthcare, Corporate, and Civic. One of the key fundamentals to our success is our integrated project teams: interior designers, medical planners and architects working together in a highly collaborative environment taking projects from concept through construction.In your new role, you will:

Proactive team involvement and willingness to participate in ideation of designFacilitate furniture process through all design phases -- schematic, design, CD & CAWork with technical team to ensure design intent is accurately interpreted in documentsDevelop space planning and furniture test fit concepts to integrate with interior designDevelop furniture budgets for large and small projectsCreate beautiful graphics for furniture presentations to clientParticipate in selection of furniture, materials and fabricsGenerate technical furniture specificationsWork with furniture manufacturers and furniture dealers to develop FFE designWhat you will need to succeed:

Bachelor Degree from accredited school; or Interior Design or Interior Architecture degree from an accredited program5+ or more years of professional experienceStrong organization skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same timeProven creativity and innovation in designWorking knowledge in RevitWorking knowledge in Access DatabaseProficient in In-Design, Photoshop and IllustratorExperience in furniture selection, finishes, materials & specificationsStrong verbal and graphic communication skills; effective client relationship skillsThe annual base pay range for this role is anticipated to be between $72,000 and $83,000. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
