Job Summary

FreeWheel, a **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Company, is looking for a Vice President, Product Marketing to build and lead a high performing product marketing team across all of our platforms. You'll help assess our market, understand the competitive landscape, our unique differentiation, and how to position our suites of products to new and existing customers, while designing and leading go-to-market activities across the product and customer lifecycle, including strategic analysis, product positioning, developing marketing and sales support materials, identifying new markets, and acting as a liaison between our product organization and our revenue teams.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and manage the Product Marketing Team, including designing the organization, providing ongoing coaching and development, performance management, and talent management.

Develop product marketing and go-to-market strategies with quantifiable impacts on the overall FreeWheel business.

Partner with revenue, executive, and product leadership to assess and bring future market/product opportunities to the table.

Ensure the successful launch of new products and capabilities to our customers, leading to high quality testing and beta periods followed by rapid adoption.

Own the messaging and positioning for our core products, understand our buyer personas and develop a narrative that resonates for each customer segment.

Refine, evolve, and build out a full set of materials to improve the ability of our sales, marketing, and revenue teams to successfully drive product adoption.

Compile and assimilate customer, competitive and industry insights, in partnership with product management, to create business cases and requirements for new product offerings.

Develop a product marketing strategy across the organization while also participating in annual and quarterly strategic planning activities for each platform.

Define best practices for product marketing and go-to-market activities and ensure their adoption across the organization.

Act as a customer advocate within the product organization and a product advocate with customers.

Maintain and curate a library of competitive intelligence and act as a subject matter expert on competitive activity within the company.

Ensure the seamless development of client-facing roadmaps, materials for quarterly business reviews, product-oriented pitch decks, and other critical client-facing material.

Lead Voice of the Customer activities within the product organization and participate in cross-functional Customer Net Promoter Score activities.

Work with the marketing to develop and activate product-oriented campaigns including thought leadership, content marketing, events marketing, and earned media.

Professional Experience & Qualifications:

12 years in product marketing, with recent senior roles in B2B product marketing

7 years of direct people leadership experience

Solid understanding of the advertising technology landscape, with experience on the buy-side, sell-side, or in an ad-tech company preferred

An ability to sift through all the jargon to tell a clear, coherent story that resonates in the market

A growth-oriented people leader with a history of developing high performing teams

Able to get work done through others and operate at scale

Salary:

Pay Range: $215,213.76 - $322,820.64
