Currently, we are looking to welcome a dynamic Freelance Marketing Science Analyst

whose expertise lies in driving performance improvement strategies for top advertisers in the automotive or travel industry, working closely with sales teams, and someone who is a data storyteller. This role is freelance for seven months and will be hybrid in the client’s New York or Los Angeles, CA office. Their journey in the industry has been characterized by continuous reinvention and a steadfast dedication to shaping the future of communication.Your Expertise:Proficiency in advanced analytics and measurement methodologies, with a proven track record of driving performance improvements for advertisers, specifically in the automotive or travel industry.Extensive experience in marketing mix modeling, offline sales solutions, and base measurements.In-depth understanding of the digital advertising and measurement ecosystem, with hands-on experience in ad measurement.Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency with advanced tools such as SQL (mandatory), Python, and SAS.At least 5 years of advanced analytics and measurement experience, preferably within a technology company, media agency, consulting firm, advertiser, or research company.Excellent data storytelling and visualization skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.Your Responsibilities:Work closely with the functional lead, to enhance advertising performance through innovative strategies, experimental designs, and causal analytics methodologies.Spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing advertising performances through the formulation and execution of innovative learning-agenda strategies.Develop and implement comprehensive measurement, research, and learning plans tailored to meet advertiser objectives and foster long-term growth for key clients.Assist users in testing and learning programs, measuring performance, analyzing data, and providing actionable recommendations.Utilize advanced analytics capabilities to conduct measurement studies, including meta-analyses, to evaluate the effectiveness of various marketing strategies.Collaborate with product, research development, and sales teams to develop cutting-edge measurement and insights products specifically tailored for automotive and travel advertisers.Engage with measurement partners across the ecosystem, understand their methodologies, recognize nuances, and identify potential pitfalls.Maintain a client-facing role (20%) and focus on data analysis and insights (80%).Lead the planning and execution of custom multi-study meta-analyses with Data Science and Research/Development teams to decipher the impact of various marketing strategies across digital platforms and media.Advocate for the advancement of measurement capabilities across verticals, fostering collaboration with cross-functional partners to drive the adoption and integration of measurement solutions and insights.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field or equivalent years of experience in analytics and measurement.Minimum 5+ years of advanced analytics and measurement experience showcasing a deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape.Proficiency with advanced analytical tools such as SQL (mandatory), Python, or SAS.Demonstrated clear and concise communication skills, with proven experience presenting insights to senior stakeholders.Experience in ads measurement across various verticals, direct work with top advertisers, and a proven track record of building and influencing client relationships.Must be willing to work a hybrid schedule in the New York or Los Angeles office (three days onsite, two days remote).SUBMIT
