THE ROLE

Are you a strategic visionary with a passion for making brands stand out in the ever-evolving world of social media? We’re looking for a Senior Strategist to join our dynamic team and drive impactful social media campaigns that resonate with audiences and deepen cultural relevance. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with account management, creative, influencer, and production teams to craft and execute comprehensive social media content plans, with a particular focus on TikTok.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with the strategy team, account management, creative, influencer, and production teams to develop and execute holistic social media content plans and playbooks, with an emphasis on TikTok.

Understand and optimize content calendars for brands’ social media channels to support “always on” evergreen content and timely campaign needs.

Develop and brief teams on Brand & Campaign strategies that meet the goals of the brand.

Develop robust communication strategies across always-on and campaign, ensuring all work ladders up to your clients’ overall business goals.

Monitor content performance and develop analytics reports in order to identify learnings, optimization recommendations, and track performance against KPIs.

Partner with the creative team to ideate on fun, relevant content that ladders up to clients’ overarching social/channel strategies.

Supervise the day-to-day flow of content across all touchpoints and platforms.

Support content creation to ensure delivery in a prioritized, timely manner while proactively finding opportunities and efficiencies to maximize content opportunities.

Help execute social and community management tactics for key product launches, events, activations and help create proactive crisis management programs.

Regularly analyze the competition and other best-in-class brands to inspire new ideas and executions – especially in new platform innovations.

Constantly monitor emerging platforms and technologies that can inform innovative strategies for first-mover brands, and share that knowledge with both internal teams and external clients.

Extend Movers+Shakers’ position as an industry-thought leader with your cultural prowess, developing blogs, webinars, and other thought leadership pieces in partnership with the B2B team.

QUALIFICATIONS

5-8 years of client-facing social media management and/or strategy experience in a creative agency setting.

Strong understanding of mass and niche consumer culture, with a focus on Gen Z.

Strong understanding of data & analytics.

Extensive experience managing social media channels.

Experience with and interest in TikTok.

Experience with data and analytics.

Ability to mine for rich cultural insights and craft a unique, strategic way in that inspires creativity.

Passion for delighting clients and going above & beyond.

Super organized, able to manage up, down and across.

Feels comfortable guiding the team to achieve strategic goals.

Familiarity with business platforms such as Slack, Google Drive, Asana, Sprout.

Familiarity with insight-mining platforms such as GWI, Trendpop.

BASE SALARY RANGE

Our estimated range for this role is $100,000-115,000*

*Don’t let this range drive your decision to apply. Actual compensation packages are based on the level of skill and experience each candidate brings to their role. Similarly, we are flexible with the level we are hiring for - they can be mid-senior level. For example, a person may apply for a Senior Content Strategist role, and we may assess that their skills are at the Content Strategist level. Each level has its own compensation range.
