Preferred Qualifications ·Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. ·5+ years of relevant marketing and/or communications work with increasing levels of responsibility. Position Summary The Senior Manager of Content Strategy and Digital Marketing will design and execute a centralized content plan aimed at engaging and reaching internal and external audiences. Reporting to the Senior Director for Integrated Marketing & Brand Strategy, this role will guide the distribution of UGA content across various owned, earned, and paid channels, ensuring it aligns with and enhances the UGA brand and strategic goals. Additionally, the Senior Manager of Content Strategy and Digital Marketing will plan, execute, and manage digital advertising campaigns across various platforms. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively across all teams within the Division of Marketing & Communications. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or CompetenciesProven experience in content management, content strategy, or a similar role.Ability to lead individuals who are not direct reports.Working understanding of media relations, digital marketing, SEO , and social media platforms.Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively across diverse teams, with the ability to coordinate and integrate efforts across the Division of Marketing & Communications.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Creative thinker with a strategic mindset.Proficiency with content management systems ( CMS ) and digital marketing tools.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Physical Demands Standard office environment Is driving a responsibility of this position? Participate in developing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with UGA’s brand and strategic goals.Develop and maintain a centrally led, quarterly content plan.Collaborate with Media Communications, Creative Services, Internal Communications, and Marketing & Brand Strategy to plan content for strategic placement across all communication and marketing channels.Collaborate with account and project managers to organize project teams to develop, execute, and complete integrated marketing and communications plans.Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across UGA to source content ideas and ensure alignment with overall marketing & communications goals.Percentage of time 50 Duties/Responsibilities Digital Advertising Campaign Management

Plan, execute, and manage digital advertising campaigns across various platforms (Google Ads, social media, display networks, etc.).Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to maximize ROI .Percentage of time 30 Duties/Responsibilities Data Management and Analysis

Supervise Marketing & Communications Data Analyst to review data and make content recommendations.Utilize analytics and metrics to measure content effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.Identify opportunities for testing of content and make recommendations to the team for new projects or tactics based on results.Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications Data Analyst on data needs and oversee planning for marketing data tracking, collection, and aggregation as needed.Percentage of time 15 Duties/Responsibilities Other Duties As Assigned (5%)
