Senior Service Designer

to join our client's leading financial services team and play a pivotal role in several transformative initiatives.

As a Senior Service Designer, you will be instrumental in enhancing efficiency and user satisfaction by addressing existing pain points, mapping user journeys, and developing intuitive solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in service design and a passion for creating impactful, user-centered experiences.This is a hybrid role in which candidates must be onsite 3 days per week in Wilmington, DE.

Responsibilities:Apply a systems thinking approach to analyze complex workflows and identify areas for improvement.Conduct user research to gain deep insights into the needs of both customers and internal stakeholders.Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data analysts to define and solve the right problems.Create experience maps and service prototypes to illustrate customer journeys, with a focus on continuous refinement.Ensure all designs comply with accessibility (ADA) and regulatory standards.Effectively communicate design rationale and advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization.Lead cross-functional teams in creating storyboards, service blueprints, and conducting research to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.Document processes and touchpoints, incorporating inclusive design principles for seamless, personalized, and accessible experiences.Qualifications:5+ years of experience as a UX/Service Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design projects.Proficiency in design thinking methodologies, such as the Double Diamond framework.Strong process orientation with the ability to translate business requirements into intuitive, user-friendly designs.Proven track record in innovative service design projects, including journey mapping, service blueprinting, and storyboarding.Experience working within an Agile product development environment.Strong communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.Familiarity with financial services or enterprise software design is a plus.Equal Opportunity Employer:
