Make your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.CNN seeks a talented Associate Producer to join the CNN 11am-12pm team!Your Role Accountabilities…The Associate Producer responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Viewing and selecting the strongest and most accurate video elements (packages, sound-bites, B-roll, etc.) for a newscast.Communicating show needs with writers, producers, and assignment desks.Ordering and/or producing graphics, reporter packages, social media segments.Preparing editing requests and using technological tools to research and gather archive video.Ensuring all video elements are prepared properly for air and that media source records include accurate details.Working in the front row of the control room to communicate the status of video elements.Your Qualifications & Experience…Two years as an AP, writer/producer or producer in local news, cable or at the network level.Strong news awareness and production skills.Desire to work in a 24-hour newsroom environment.Ability to react quickly and calmly to breaking news situations.Professionalism in changing and challenging situations.Knowledge of iNews is extremely beneficial.Understanding of graphics, social media and non-linear production is essential.Aggressive and adaptable to changing technology.Demonstrated strong editorial judgment.Willingness to work whenever needed.Extremely flexible and willing to support breaking news and coverage needs in all day parts.Four-year degree or commensurate work experience.The Legal Bits…Warner Bros.
