For a complete understanding of this opportunity, and what will be required to be a successful applicant, read on.The backstory on the organization and why they need to hire you!A nationally celebrated retailer is witnessing groundbreaking digital growth and needs behind-the-scenes data analysis support ASAP for a high volume of campaigns going into 2022 and beyond. They need a SQL and reporting wizard to come in and work on complex queries, transforming data on a deep level (think subqueries and joins). In this role, you will act as a liaison between support organizations and the marketing team. You will be responsible for analyzing business results and providing standardized reporting across all digital acquisition marketing tactics. In addition, this role encompasses data analysis of the brand’s loyalty program. You will dig deep into the full life cycle of results of loyalty marketing and loyalty campaigns, customer response, sales, lift calculation, and forecasting as well as ad-hoc analysis. In short, you’ve gotta love digging into details, and you need to be a master at using SQL to pull and transform data. You’ll be working with a talented team within one of the nation’s top 10 retailers. It’s a good look.Why You?How you’ll know if you’re a fit…SQL SQL SQL! You must have deep knowledge of and proficiency with SQL, including subqueries and joins. Note: There will be a SQL test early in this interview process. You have 3+ years of experience in the analysis of marketing programs (retail industry experience preferred) and you’re comfortable working with a large volume of campaigns. You have a college degree, Masters preferred. You understand how data works and how to validate data. Plus, you possess the debugging skills to track down and remedy flaws in data sets. You have strong experience working with large data sets and web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Multi Touch Attribution, SAS, IBM Analytics, etc). The whole notion of analyzing data for a top 10 e-commerce company excites you. You’re curious about data and enjoy the day-to-day reporting that needs to be done.
