JOB SUMMARY FOR SENIOR TECHNICAL WRITER:

This position is for a Cybersecurity Technical Writer. In this role you will develop and manage clear, concise technical content for the Vulnerability Management and/or Product Security playbooks.This role involves creating and maintaining cybersecurity documentation, operational procedures, and reports.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and at least 5 years of experience in technical writing within cybersecurity, with a focus on vulnerability management. They should be skilled in working under pressure with various stakeholders, including technical analysts and senior leadership, to ensure accurate and timely documentation.Proficiency in breaking down complex technical information into engaging narratives is crucial.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR TECHNICAL WRITER:

Responsible for development and curation of clear concise technical and process content for the Vulnerability Management and/or Product Security playbook, laying out roles and responsibilities, procedures that need to be executed and required reporting and documentation from different stakeholder groups involved in vulnerability management and product security.Senior Analyst will also be responsible for maintenance and adoption of the playbook across multiple technology stakeholders and platform and product security teams.Developing and reviewing technical communications deliverables including cybersecurity documentation, operational procedures, plans, action reports, and meeting minutes, coordinating with enterprise cybersecurity management teams to ensure integration of playbooks for vulnerability management and/or product security.Manage the work with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, to facilitate knowledge sharing and improve content development processes.Coordinate the integration of materials and playbooks between different stakeholders and cybersecurity teams on critical vulnerabilities remediation status, reporting, cybersecurity incidents, open bridges for incidents, maintenance windows, monitoring anomalies, or any other open problems.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR TECHNICAL WRITER:

Bachelors Degree in Technical domain5+ years of technical writing experience including developing cybersecurity communications deliverables such as documentation, plans, action reports, and meeting minutes for internal and external audiences.Proficient knowledge and experience in cybersecurity vulnerability managementExperience with creating and maintaining government records associated with cybersecurity activities, documentation, and SOPs.Ability to work with technical cyber analysts to evaluate material and break it down into concise, compelling narrative that engages the reader.Ability to work under pressure with engagement leads, technical analysts, and subject matter experts in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment to ensure timely product release
