The Director of Music Ministry coordinates and offers a comprehensive music program that fosters worship for all age levels in a variety of settings, including Sunday morning in the sanctuary.
Salary:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salary range $50,000 to $70,000.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in music, organ or an allied discipline preferred, though we welcome other candidates who have practical experience in church music ministry with a knowledge of both traditional and contemporary worship music.
Demonstrated experience directing choral and instrumental ensembles and mixed groups of all levels of musical experience.
Knowledge of choral rehearsal techniques and conducting.
Strong organ/piano skills.
Knowledge of copyright laws.
General knowledge of computers and other office machines.
Temperament to be a patient communicator and organized administrator.
