or
in a client-facing design-based field such as interior design, graphic design, or template design. We are willing to train the right person to become a subject-matter expert, but the candidate must otherwise have a background in running client-facing design projects. Candidates should enjoy working directly with clients to develop creative solutions to design "problems:" this is a role suitable for someone who enjoys the puzzle of design rather than the artistry of creative expression. This could be a full or part-time role but availability for evening (until 7pm) and Saturday appointments is required.Duties
Learn the complete project cycle of jewelry design, including understanding different gemstone options, pricing, and design development.Meet with prospective clients to discuss their design goals, provide preliminary pricing estimates, and explain the Alx&Co. design process.Work with clients through the entirety of the design process from initial meeting to design approval, including communicating design drafts, pricing, and contract closure.Maintain updated CRM portfolio.Jewelry CAD design capabilities would be a plus, but not required (we have our own CAD designers).Qualifications
