In addition to classroom instruction, an individual performs a variety of classroom-related and other activities to ensure every student has the opportunity to learn, progress, and achieve academic success.Deliver course content, learning activities, and student assessments using the University’s current course materials. Share supplemental knowledge and experience to help students understand and make the connections between course concepts and real-world applications.Provide each student the opportunity to grow, develop, and achieve academic success by maintaining an engaged classroom presence, timely responding to student inquiries, and creating a supportive learning environment.Perform a variety of additional duties, such as coaching, tutoring, and identifying appropriate additional resources, as determined by specific course and/or program requirements.Attend various faculty meetings and University events as required, including but not limited to General Faculty Meetings and Content Area Meetings.Maintain current professional and technical knowledge of content area(s) through employment, professional certification/licensure, and other viable means.Instruct and perform other job-related required duties in an online environment, as dictated by program requirements.Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.NOTE: The Primary Accountabilities above are intended to describe the general content and requirements of the position and are not intended to be an exhaustive statement of duties.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Doctorate Degree in Healthcare Marketing, Healthcare Administration or Marketing ORDoctorate degree in any area with 18 graduate semester credits in Healthcare Marketing, Healthcare Administration or Marketing OR5 years of current applicable experience in marketing in healthcare industry organization within the last 10 years3 graduate semester credits in Healthcare Marketing or MarketingMaster's degree in any area with 5 years of current applicable experience in a healthcare marketing setting within the last 5 yearsREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution.Applicable degrees can include but are not limited to: Business Administration, Public Administration, Nursing, Administration, or Organization Development/Leadership/Management.Applicable experience may include but is not limited to: experience in customer relations or public relations in healthcare and/or healthcare advertising or marketing.Candidates may demonstrate currency in the content area through teaching experience, consulting, additional certifications, published research, and/or professional presentations.SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENT:

All candidates must have one record of scholarship within the last five years that meets UOPX’s definition of scholarship engagement.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Familiarity with adult education teaching and learning theoryHigh level of problem solving and decision-making ability to assess student work, address issues and concerns, and provide appropriate guidanceExcellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse constituencies.Technology proficiency, including Microsoft suite programs.Able to convey a professional image and represent the University appropriately within the community.Pay RangeFor all states except CA, the pay range for this position is on a per course basis, and is between $1,035 and $3,686.
