Ready to apply Before you do, make sure to read all the details pertaining to this job in the description below.The Senior Director, Brand Marketing is responsible for collaborating with the CMO to develop the marketing strategy for the brand, new product launches and core products, and partner closely with cross functional teams such as Creative, Sales and Digital, to drive execution. In addition, the Senior Director will lead Trade Marketing across Sephora, Ulta and our Salon retailers. The Senior Director will also drive Briogeo’s Philanthropy and Sustainability efforts.Role + ResponsibilitiesCreate marketing strategy and 360 plans driven by data and consumer insights that support short and long-term business objectives, driving sell-out and market share gain.Lead Marketing calendar alignment with cross functional partnersPartner with the Creative team to develop and deliver creative assets to support 360 campaignsEnsure Marketing strategy is executed cohesively across channels in partnership with Sales, Digital, Consumer Engagement (PR/Social/Influencer) and Creative teamsEvolve strategy and plans as needed to drive relevancy and desirabilityLead cross-functional team in hind-sighting post-campaigns, landing on actionable insights + recommendations for the future across channelsLead consumer-facing event executionShare NA Marketing strategies with international team to help drive global alignmentLead business analysis, working closely with direct reportLead team responsible for Trade Marketing, primarily focused on Specialty Retailers (Sephora and Ulta) and Salon (BSG and SalonCentric)Build best-in-class relationships with retail marketing partners, developing differentiated marketing support based on retailer core consumer and needsPartner closely with Sales and Creative teams on Visual Merchandising strategy and execution, aligned with brand, consumer and product prioritiesPartner with Sales team to create materials for strategic retailer meetingsPartner closely with Field and Sales team on Retailer eventsLead team responsible for Philanthropy and Sustainability strategy and execution. Ensure Sustainability deliverables are aligned with Retailer and company goalsIn partnership with the CMO, help identify and execute strategic partnerships and collaborationsProactively identify opportunities to improve process and ways-of-working, collaborating with CMO + leadership to provide solutionsDevelop and coach direct reports to maximize their potential, ensuring high productivity and engagementSupport the evolution of Brand Positioning and Identity as needed, and ensure Brand Pillars are consistently followed across channelsThis job description is intended to cover the core accountabilities of the position and is not designed to cover a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.RequirementsBachelor’s degree and 10 years brand management experience, preferably in BeautyDeep experience planning and leading execution of 360 marketing plansDemonstrated ability to lead teams, and collaborate successfully with cross-functional partnersStrong analytical, oral, written and presentation skillsPrevious experience in Beauty, and with Sephora and Ulta, highly preferredMust demonstrate strong strategic, creative, interpersonal, organizational and communication skillsThrives in an environment that is extremely fast-paced, rapidly changing, and consumer-centricAbout BriogeoAt Briogeo, we are on a mission to empower every person to succeed on their unique healthy hair journey. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Briogeo / Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Pay Range: $175,000 - 185,000 salary per year. Other rewards may include an annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role. In addition, Briogeo / Wella Company provides a rich variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance, life, and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
