Woodland Group are recruiting a Customs Entry Writer for our New York office. A Customs Entry Writer will be an experienced entry writer familiar with HTS classification and PGA’s with 5+ years of experience.

What you will be doing:Preparation of customs, ISF and RLF entriesEntry classification and valuationReviewing and verifying documentation for accuracy to ensure compliance with all federal regulationsWorking with Customs, air carriers, steamship lines, piers and CFS’sTroubleshooting any issues, problems or examinations that may ariseAll other tasks as assigned by supervisor and/or manager
About you:High School diploma or equivalent, college preferredAt least 5 years of Customs Brokerage experience to include entry writing, classification and valuation of merchandiseThorough knowledge of HTS and CFR 19, Customs RegulationsFamiliarity with PGA clearances and their various documentation requirementsExperience with ACE and RLF a mustExcellent verbal and written communications skillsAbility to multi-task and team-orientedProficiency with Microsoft OfficeExperience with Cargowise a plus
