Our client, a leading activewear and sportswear manufacturing company is looking for a Technical Designer to join their team to focus on their Girls/Boy/Toddler/Baby division.
Responsibilities:Manage the technical design lifecycle, from initial sketch to production fit approval.Develop and maintain tech packs throughout the line creation process.Lead fit sessions to establish brand aesthetic and proportion within price points.Create and maintain specification packages to meet design and financial goals.Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders for clear direction on design aesthetic and construction.Develop specifications and construction methods for product categories, ensuring cost efficiency.Resolve technical issues related to fit, execution, fabric application, and grading.Evaluate prototype and fit samples for accuracy and quality.Ensure brand consistency in aesthetic, fit, and construction.Communicate with cross-functional teams to meet calendar milestones.Proactively identify and resolve production, quality, and costing issues.Stay updated on market trends.
Requirements:College Degree5-10 years of Technical Design ExperienceProficient in Excel.Experience with PLM systems, Adobe Illustrator, and 3D design.Expertise in apparel fitting, spec/block creation, and pattern correction.
